Amber Lia-Kloppel is a figurative painter, and recent graduate of the Masters program at the New York Academy of Art. She has studied with Steven Assael, Patrick Connors, Will Cotton, Vincent Desiderio, Tina Newberry, Ted Schmidt, Wade Schuman, and Steve Sherman among others.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Since 2001 taught basic drawing, figure drawing, and cast drawing semi-privately (groups of up to twelve students) with an emphasis on portfolio development. Students accepted with scholarships to the following undergraduate programs: Harvard University, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the New York School of Interior Design.
